About Anderson Poolworks
Bruce and Jan Anderson started Anderson's Blast-Off, a water-sandblasting company in 1979. Initially doing work for construction companies, architectural firms, equipment and material suppliers, they were soon sandblasting swimming pools for city park bureaus, school and recreation districts, and local swimming pool companies. Soon this swimming pool work grew to dominate their workload, expanding beyond sandblasting to include additional pool renovation tasks.
In 1997, sons Brody and Dana partnered with Bruce and Jan to begin Anderson Poolworks. Brody and Dana added further vision and depth to the innovative balancing of the elements of the watershape compositions for which Anderson Poolworks has become known.

Industry Recognition
Continuing education for management and employees, in addition to trade association liaisonships are very important to the Andersons. One of the principle partners is a managing board member of the National Plasterer's Council, and all of the partners are members of the National Spa and Pool Institute. They also work closely with the Oregon Health Department to insure that everything they do meets, or exceeds, the latest regulations and is as safe as possible.
